Scorpia rising by Anthony Horowitz

Alex Rider wants his life back. But when you're the world's most successful spy, there's only one way out. Alex's final mission will be the deadliest of all.

One bullet. One life. The end starts here

This book is not for anyone who hasn't read the last eight books in the series! I was sad that this was the last book in this great series.  It was interesting to read through the first 6 chapters of the book from the point of scorpia - the corparation which alex has dealt with twice already.  As the book progresses you change into the second part of the book where alex has found himself yet again: in front of alan blunt, the head of mi6. he godes alex into doing a 'surveliance' mission where he tells alex he is safer off. this comes to happen as an assasin atempts to kill alex in his classroom threating the safety of everyone around him including his carer jack starbright after all the scorpia motto is: Scorpia never forgives; Scorpia never forgets.
so alex sets off to egypt to a privaliged school where some of the richest families in the world send their children. alex finds himself encounter old enemies: some he thought were dead. he poses as a student and is instructed to keep an eye on th new head of secruity as he is suspected to associate with scorpia. Scorpia vow to kill alex after he riuned two of their previous assignments. after a dissapointing year and the reputation of scorpia going down the drain they cannot afford to fail.

a fast action thriller with a well thought out plot  10/10
